The process of installing the Enforcement Agent on several computers can be simplified by using Apple Remote Desktop.

Procedure

  1. Download the installation package from the management console and then copy it on the macOS computer with Apple Remote Desktop.
    For information on downloading the installation package, see Enforcement Agent Settings and Downloads.
  2. Launch the installation package from the macOS computer using an archiving tool, such as Archive Utility.
    Launching the package extracts the file iwsaasEA.pkg and other associated files. For details about the files, see Enforcement Agent Deployment.
  3. Open Apple Remote Desktop on the macOS computer.
  4. Select the computers to which to install the Enforcement Agent and then click Install.
  5. On the Install Packages screen, drag iwsaasEA.pkg or click "+" to locate it.
  6. (Optional) Click Save to automatically run the installation task on new macOS computers that connect to the network.
  7. Click Install.
    The Apple Remote Desktop starts installing the agent to the selected computers. If the installation was successful on all computers, the message Install Packages: Succeeded on all appears. Otherwise, Successful appears under Task Status for each computer on which the installation was successful.
