Enable Data Security sensors on your managed endpoints in the Endpoint Security Policies screen.

Enable the following security modules on an Endpoint Security Policy to trace and analyze the movement of sensitive data, and to take protection actions when sensitive data movement is detected:
  • Data Security Sensor: Sends activity data to trace and analyze the movement of sensitive data defined by data policies.

  • Browser Extension: Allows Trend Vision One to collect additional file upload telemetry from the system browser. This setting is required when creating a data policy to configure protection actions when a user attempts to upload a sensitive file through a web browser.

Procedure

  1. Go to Data Security → Data Security Posture.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Enable sensor.
    The Endpoint Security Policies screen opens.
  4. Click the Policies tab.
  5. Click a policy name to select it.
  6. Scroll down to Cyber Risk & Security Operations and enable the Data Security Sensor security module.
  7. In the Management Settings area, enable Browser Extension.
  8. Click Save.
